The Paintshop Hostel in Figueira da Foz is the town's 1ST and BEST international backpacker’s hostel, lovingly created with the Traveller and Surfer in mind! Located in a traditional Portuguese town house, and a stone’s throw from Europe’s widest beach, we've got everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay at this popular Atlantic seaside and surfing resort.

Close to all the bars, clubs, casino, restaurants and beaches, it's the perfect place to break the journey between Porto and Lisbon. We offer budget accommodation with private double/twin rooms and dorms, with Free Breakfast & Free Internet/WiFi.

Just 10-mins walk from the bus and train stations our facilties include: fully equipped kitchen, comfy DVD lounge, hot & powerful showers, private bar & beer garden, internet cafe, laundry facilities, bike hire, surf lessons, board & wetsuit rentals and free parking.

Since its new management in 2010, the Paintshop Hostel has become known for its friendly welcome, laid back atmosphere, relaxed and comfortable vibe, excellent facilities and easy access to the local surf and night spots!

The newly refurbished Paintshop Bar and Beer Garden with HD TV is a great place to kick back after a long day at the beach, make new friends and join us for our weekly BBQ and Pizza Nights. We have an internet cafe where you can surf the internet, charge your iPod, upload your photos, print your travel tickets and skype family & friends. There's a pool table in the hostel too and a book exchange...so grab a book to take to the beach or for any long journey ahead.

Whether you have partied too hard or are looking to relax, our comfy beds and hot showers are sure to ease that hangover or comfort those aches from your travels.
