A Week at the Paintshop Hostel in Figueira da Foz

Monday night is Pizza Night- Bellissimo!  Everyone gathers in the courtyard at 8pm for hours of pizza fun.  We prepare the fresh dough and pizza sauce, then you help yourselves to the wide selection of toppings all prepared for your enjoyment and make your own pizza.  We use our outdoor wood-fired pizza oven to bake the homemade pizzas which accompanied with a delicious salad costs just ?7 per person.  A great relaxed evening and wonderful opportunity to have a few drinks in our courtyard and mingle with fellow guests.  All you have to remember is to put your name down on the list earlier that day!$0

Wednesday is the night we fire up the barbie and invite guests to join us in a balmy summer evening BBQ.  Most people don't feel like cooking every night, so on BBQ night leave the cooking to us and we'll provide 100% beef burgers, delicious pork, scrummy sardines, fresh bread rolls, pasta and salad - all for only ?7.  Meet other guests and relax in the courtyard and bar as we prepare a feast for everyone to enjoy.  $0

On Fridays let us escort you on a tour of Figueria da Foz's best nightlife.  We kick things off at 10.30pm in the bar where everyone can partake in an hour of free drinking (beer & wine).  We play drinking games which are a great ice-breaker so you can get to know your fellow party-goers and be in the mood for an evening on the town.   We'll take you to at least three great bars, where you'll get free shots and then we'll show you where to go onto if you fancy continuing the party.  Bars get busy at around midnight in Figueira da Foz and clubs don't get started until 4am so make sure you're prepared for a late one- there's nothing quite like seeing the sunrise when you're on your way home...$0$0You will get a Paintshop Hostel T-shirt as a souvenir of the crawl to remind you of the good times... On a night after a big one, when just a few quiet beers are what the doctor ordered, we will put on a trivia pub quiz! The rounds vary from geography to drinking to sex, simpsons characters, movie quotes, music and much more! It is  free to join in and the winning team all get  potent shots from our bar! Teams will get extra points for exciting answers if they don't know the real ones, and a winning team name is a must! Often what starts off as a chilled night, ends up in raucous shits and giggles, arguments and rude comments all round! Pub Quiz's aren't  held on a particular night, if there's enough people and they're keen, quizmaster Fe will do her thing!
