Beach Football

Walking along the seafront in Figueira da Foz, you'll notice the beach football courts, which are used every Friday night during the summer season for five-a-side tournaments. You can either entertain yourselves watching the locals battle it out, or get five guests together to form a team of your own and join in the action.

In late July, early August Figueira da Foz plays host to the World Beach Football Championships, where teams from all over the world compete to be named the best.
