Caldeirada is a typical Portugese stew consisting of a large variety of fish, and sometimes shellfish, with potatoes, tomato and onion. and what better time to try it than during figueiras on-going food festival
Just look around the restauraunts for the Gastrinomica 2010 signs and if you see one you can be sure that it is of the freshest fish, and finest ingredients in this years celebration of age old cooking, steeped in tradition.
