A Biker Friendly Hostel

Your hosts at the Paintshop Hostel are Steve and Deb, both motorcycle crazy.  Steve, an ex Moto X expert, has raced for over 10 years incl. Weston Beach Race and has a wealth of off-road experience incl the Baja, Spain and Morocco.

Here at the Paintshop Hostel we aim to offer a chilled out and relaxed vibe for Bikers and Surfers alike.  A great place to stay after a long ride in the saddle.  We have a private Bar with Sky TV showing all the Moto GP, WSB and BSB races live.  A pool table, kitchen, courtyard, BBQ and Pizza nights.  We rent mountain bikes and surf equipment and lessons if you fancy changing the tarmac  for the clear blue ocean!

With a variety of private and shared accommodation options, we have comfy beds with cosy duvets, hot showers, 24hr laundry service, free breakfast, and free internet/\WiFi so it feels like a real ‘home away from home’.

Figueira da Foz itself is a party town with great Bars, Clubs and even a Casino.  Best known for its long and deserted sandy beaches, it’s been called the ‘Silver Coast’s hidden gem’.  It’s the perfect stop between Porto and Lisbon, or half-way house between Santander/Bilbao and the Algarve. 

Less than 100 miles from Estoril, home of the Portuguese Moto GP, held this year on May 6^th (Round 3), why not join us as we cheer on the Brits in what is sure to be a great season!

We offer free secure private off-road parking and Steve will jump at the chance to give you a guided tour of the best roads and nightlife.
