Paintshop Hostel Booking & Cancellation Policies
BOOKING
We require a non-refundable 10% deposit to make a reservation, the balance to be paid in cash at the end of your stay with us. The deposit should be paid by credit or debit card via Paypal (you don’t need a Paypal account for this) we will send you a Paypal request when you confirm you want to make the booking. If you don’t have a credit or debit card, please let us know and we’ll work out another way to take the deposit.
ARRIVING & CHECKING OUT
You can check-in with us at any time from 7am to midnight, if you know what kind of time you expect to arrive we would really appreciate this information in advance so we know when to expect you.
Rooms/beds will be ready from 1pm on arrival day. If you check-in before this time you can leave your luggage with us and use the hostel facilities or explore the town while you wait.
Check-out time is 11am of day of departure. You must vacate your room/bed by this time, however you can leave your luggage with us free-of-charge for safe-keeping if you want to catch a later train or bus out of town. If you want to stay in the hostel later than 11am that’s fine with us, we just need to make sure your rooms and beds are vacant for the next guests!
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel up to 2 days before you are due to arrive at the hostel you will incur no charge except the 10% non-refundable deposit which you will have already paid.
For cancellations any later than 2 days before your arrival date (after midnight 3 days before: e.g if your booking is for 4th September and you cancel after 11.59pm on 1st September) we will charge you for the first night’s stay in full. This payment will be made by either credit or debit card via Paypal.
Please note: by making a reservation with the Paintshop Hostel you are agreeing to the terms of our booking and cancellation policy set out above.
